About the G.V. Loganathan Award
The G.V. Loganathan Award is determined by a poll of current civil and environmental engineering students who feel that faculty have positively impacted their education through teaching, research, advising, involvement with student organizations, or other contributions. Formerly known as the CEE Faculty Achievement Award, it was renamed in honor of Dr. G.V. Loganathan, a beloved Virginia Tech faculty member who received the award five times during his tenure.
